It's holiday time fnord.

And holy moley what a time it is.

Many of you celebrate Christmas, or Hanukkah, Kwanza, Festivus, Hogswatch, Frieza Day, you name it.

But it's also Afflux season for Discordians, the holy day marking the 50th of The Aftermath on the Discordian Calendar. Thank Goddess it’s getting toward the end of the year. (Hail Eris.)

(For those of you playing at home, Afflux is celebrated by copious drinking and placing a pair of strong magnets on either side of a piece of toast and throwing it at someone in a style similar to that used to launch throwing stars. If the target is hit, then he or she is blessed by the Goddess Eris for a full year (something no one in their left minds would want).)

Of course, there's no reason Afflux can't last throughout the rest of the month, right? Screw it! So Happy Holidays and be wary of people buying rare earth magnets on Amazon this season.
